Can I add full-length books?

Answer

  • Full-length books may not be added as e-reserves, unless written permission to do so has been granted by the copyright owner. Faculty can contact the Copyright Clearance Center to find out more about requesting copyright permissions.
  • The Library complies with copyright law "fair use" guidelines, which limit scanning sizes to a chapter; or around 10% of the complete book.
  • Some books may already be available as e-books through one of the Library databases. A librarian can assist with locating these.
