Good day,
Thank you for your question.
Since Fullerton College Library is a community college library, our database offerings are not as robust as those offered at universities, but we do have NexisUni, which offers industry reports. Searching in the publication source option in EBSCO/One Search and NexisUni (See attached.), I don't see the industry reports, specifically, that you're requesting. Did your teacher give you information regarding how to access IBISWorld or Mint Global?
NexisUni is an FC Library subscription database: Over 10,000 legal, business, and news resources. Use the Company Dossier module to retrieve detailed company information and financial performance measures, or identify and compare companies matching specific criteria. Here is a NexisUni tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiT94DEAcw0
Many more NexisUni tutorials can be found via a Google search.
NexisUni:
To search for and access periodicals, books, and other sources in electronic format:
1. Go to: https://fullcoll.libguides.com/az.php
2. Select the database that corresponds to your search needs, e.g. NexisUni.
3. When prompted to sign in to the database from off-campus, type your student ID and last name.
OR
You can also log-in to the FC databases through Canvas, or through MyGateway via the library channel under the myGateway “Fullerton” tab. Then, select a library database and you’re on your way!
If these methods do not work, then we will need to find out what the access problem is, e.g., failure to get the login screen, failure of the server to respond after entering info, error message returned indicating incorrect user ID/password, etc. We will need to know the specific time, your ID #, & link information.
Please note: You can't Google "NexisUni" and enter for free using the FC subscription.
I recently created a basic guide to help users get started.
The guide includes links to tutorials for our databases. URL: https://fullcoll.libguides.com/basic
Thank you for contacting the Fullerton College Library. Please let us know if you have additional questions! : )
