When logging on into an EBSCO data base off campus a yellow sign in banner appears at the top (Image 1). When clicked it will prompt you to sign in via the MyGateway portal. Once that is done you are now in and no longer in guest mode. Once you’ve signed in through MyGateway (Image 2), notice that there is now a folder icon in the blue bar at the top of the page. The folder icon is where you can save your searches per session instead of opening a tab for every article you want to use.

The sign in that is in the blue tab (Image 2) is a secondary sign in it’s not the same as the first one that was clicked on. This one is to sign in using EBSCO, if you don’t have one it gives you the option of creating one. You do not need to create one or sign in through this second sign in to use the database. You have already signed in through MyGateway and have full access to the database, feel free to ignore the second sign in.
